It is expected that the application for admission to the first-year undergraduate (honors) classes in the Jahangirnagar University (JB) academic year will be started from August 5 next. Jahangirnagar University admission test will start from September 22 next. The applicant must complete the application online. Application fees are accepted through Rocket or bKash.

Minimum qualification of application

Jahangirnagar University has the capacity to apply for 5 units separately. No candidate will be considered eligible for application unless there is minimum qualification. The minimum grade points and subject-based qualifications of all the units are discussed below.

A Unit (Faculty of Mathematical and Physics):

The mathematical and physics faculty must have a minimum GPA of 4.1 for both the secondary and high school exams to apply for this admission test. Admission should also be subject-wise.

Applicants applying for Abhi at Jahangirnagar University should have a minimum GPA of 4.1 in both secondary and higher secondary examination and have the following qualifications for admission.

BBA Program (a) Higher Secondary Science Branch: Mate GPA 4.1 A- (Minus) Grade in Mathematics and English

(B) Higher Secondary Humanities / English and Business Education Other Branches: Mate GPA 1.0 A- (Minus) Grade in Accounting / Economics / Mathematics / Business Policy and Practices

 

H Unit (Institute of Information Technology):

Candidates should apply for IT Department of Jahangirnagar University with a minimum GPA of 4.1 in both the secondary and high school exams and must qualify for admission as below.

I Unit (Bangabandhu Comparative Literature and Culture Institute):

Applicants at the Bangabandhu Comparative Literature and Culture Institute should have a minimum GPA of 1.1 in both the secondary and higher secondary examination. And have the following qualifications for admission.

Bangabandhu Comparative Literature and Culture (a) Higher Secondary Science / Business Education / Other Branches: Mate GPA 5.1 B Grade in Bengali and English

(B) Higher Secondary Humanitarian Branch: Mate GPA 4.1 B grade in Bengali and English

The process of depositing money through DBBL Mobile Banking Rocket is as follows:

i) To enter the main menu of Dutch-Bangla Mobile Banking Rocket Account * 2 #

Have to dial

ii) Select Payment.

iii) Then select Bill Pay.

iv) Type 43 as Biller ID.

v) Type the Bill Numbe received via SMS.

vi) Amount should be specified for the concerned unit as per application type.

vii) Now type DBBL Mobile Banking PIN.

vii) At the end of the payment process, a Transaction ID (id) will be sent to the applicant or agent's SMS via SMS. ঐ The Transaction ID and Bill Number need to be carefully stored, which is required for downstream entry

For admission, 2 separate jpg files should be created by scanning the latest oil monopoly passport size color picture (no more than 5 x 5 pixels and file size more than 5 kilobytes) and the signature of the applicant (no more than 4 x 8 pixels and file size is 5 kilobytes). Entries for each unit must be downloaded separately.

i) Right from the sub-menu, by clicking on the Admission Download menu on the ju-admission.org website You have to select the option.

i) Input Applicant's Bill Number and DBBL Transaction ID (Txnid) on the screen displayed
